Event Production

While attending Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, I had the great opportunity to plan the traditional Senior Week Events. I was one of five board members on the Senior Week Committee; a group which organized three days of events for +1,400 with a $100K budget.

The most loved event was the themed picnic, which in 2019 was themed "Woodstock at Marist"!
My role was to design, install, and produce the event. After studying up for the theme, I envisioned a whimsical and groovy tunnel entrance. Given the space we had to work with, this was a key element to make the existing space feel truly transformed.
I drew up plans, got the supplies, and got to work! The end result was beloved and the perfect photo op.

Everyone got on their grooviest outfits and had a wholesome time.
